Email Delivery
Please bear with us as we
attempt to get the email delivery issues worked out.
SBC, AT&T, Charter are refusing to send out emails
to our clients. We will be using another
company and seeing how that goes. As always be
sure to whitelist

If you did not receive a
2008 Order Form this year and missed the deadline,
call or email and I will get you one and extend the
deadline. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
That is a lot of Bull
Even though people told me
to watch out for bulls I never imagined this...
Benny, our Jersey bull, insists on staying with "The Girls". Even
though he doesn't need to be milked he occasionally accompanies them to the milk parlor.
He tosses his head and paws the ground, while he snorts and bawls.
Bulls are big, powerful, hormonal and (to me but not to Matt) scary. He
looks more like hamburger everyday. Anyone else hungry; we may have ground
beef this year after all!
I Want Milk
and Cream, Too!
We are pleased to announce that we now are carrying cream. Whether
you want it for ice cream, butter or a fresh dollop on your coffee we've got
the cream for you.
Sold in quart jars for convenience.

Cheesemaking
for Beginners
Sun. May 18, 12:30 -3:30 Q & A to follow
Many people in that area have Cows or Goats and are
saying, "How can we make cheese of all that milk??"
Come find out - cow or goat, the process is the
same. We will also learn to use suitable milk from a
store.
It's EASY, fun & interesting to make delicious
cheese at home. You'll learn to make soft fresh
"feta" or "young cheese", yogurt, soft spreadable
chevre, quickie ricotta, farmhouse cheddar & Blue.
It is so easy that you will wonder why you didn't do
this before.
In the class you will learn the basic processes so
you'll be able to follow any cheesemaking recipe for
any type of cheese. It is not a cheese tasting
class, although we will taste cheeses from the
beginning stage of that cheese through the end
product. You will NOT be bringing home cheese; you
will bring home the knowledge and confidence to make
it yourself.
Pre-registration required! $35 per person. You will
receive a complementary instruction packet.
(Optional items to buy: rennet $5, books, $15-$20,
and other assorted stuff.)
To Register, email me and put a subject on your
email, such as "cheese class". I toss out untitled
emails! Or, phone me. Then after we confirm
together, mail me the $35 per person registration to
hold your spot.

If you are one of the lucky few that got their orders
in and are planning to pick up a chicken on May 16/17. Be sure to write it on

Bring your coolers on pick up day. Ice, too, if driving
a distance. We may have some to sell but we may not have much.

Great
Pyrenees Puppies
Still have several wonderful choices if you know of
anyone looking for a companion, yard dog or guard dog. The Pyrenees is
such a wonderful mellow dog; I just adore the breed.
